Carnivorous Staircases

Okay, I might have to explain this one a bit. When I was in Tokyo, I noticed all the trees were pruned like giant bonsai. It was so cool. When we were by the Emperor's Palace, we saw a bunch of the giant bonsai and ladders . . . with no people on them o.O

Since it was early afternoon and we were in Japan not Mexico (so no one would be having a siesta at that time), we logically concluded the ladders must have taken revenge and eaten the people who mutilated them so!
